Pokémon Go part-2 (How Pokémon GO managed to break all the records in app industry?) and beats clash royale etc. and become no 1

                Pokémon  Go

                              part-2

How Pokémon GO managed to break all the records in app industry?

  • Pokemon - The name itself is popular among gamer community.
  • The Hype since first trailer launched - As soon as Niantic dropped first trailer of Pokemon GO it started trending because now you can see Pokemon in real life and can catch them in your backyard or in park.
  • Platform - All other Pokemon games are on Nintendo’s Console but this game is on Android/iOS. If you compare Nintendo’s console devices sold with android and iOS, there’s a HUGE difference 1000+ Million units.
  • Free-to-Play - Free-to-Play games on smartphones are always more popular than Paid games even if you add tonnes of In App Purchases.
  • Competitive Nature- As in this game, when you reach at level 5 you have to choose one team out of 3. You can take control of nearby gyms as a team. This leads to healthy rivalry which is important in any multiplayer game.
  • Socializing Element- As humans are social animals, we love to do most of the things in group. Taking control over gyms as a Team, helping them to level up gym, gathering around PokeStop to get items and eggs this caused people to come together and form a small community. I think this is the MOST IMPORTANT element that make this game so popular.

Pokemon Go" has hit a milestone.
The augmented reality activity is now the biggest mobile game in U.S. history

As of Tuesday, "Pokemon Go" attracted just under 21 million daily active users in the United States.
Previous record holders include "Draw Something" and "Candy Crush,"at roughly 16 million and 20 million, respectively.
Within 24 hours, the widely "Pokemon" popular game reached number 1 on App Store, beating out indie hit "Slither.io" and Supercell's heavily promoted blockbuster "Clash Royale" to become the biggest game of 2016, according to the post.
After three days of its release, "Pokemon Go" had attracted more users than Twitter, and rose to the top of the App Store's revenue charts.
